COLLAROY

The Destination

Collaroy is a seaside village on Sydney's Northern Beaches.  Offering a relaxed, family lifestyle, it is also well served with public transport to Sydney's CBD and onward to the airport. It's also easy to get further north to Palm Beach and all the attractions along the way.

The name Collaroy comes from an Aboriginal word meaning long reeds.  The suburb was originally part of Narrabeen but was renamed after the collier S.S. Collaroy ran aground on the beach in 1881.
